Hey everyone, new to to this forum but not forums and I know how much help there can be. We'll heres my dilemma, I play golf frequently and last year after I finished a around I was driving home and noticed I had left my knife in the cart (I played HS and College golf so this is SUPER rare I leave something), well I get back and sure enough none of the cart boys (close to me in age at 24, so no respect obviously) have any idea where it is or have any idea of what Im talking about. The course dead that day and I may had been the 3rd person all day so it wasn't like it got lost in a busy day, even after talking to the clubhouse guys I got nowhere so i left pissed, and yet have gone back to that course. Here the thing, that knife has immense personal importance to me as it was a gift and replacement for my knife I got when my dad passed when I was 18. I know I can't have the exact knife that was stolen, but if I could replace it with the same model I would be very happy and take the sting out a bit. I noticed the model was discontinued so my best hope is that I can get one from someone who has one now. it was a Benchmade Shoki 480-01, the carbon fiber model. Any help would be great, I know there is a wanted thread but I went int there an noticed no posts for over 2 weeks so was hoping for more publicity here. Thanks everyone in advance! Any help is welcome, just really bummed out.

Welcome!

There are plenty of post in the Want to Buy section. Only Gold Members and up can view the threads there because they have permission to sell on the site.
Post a thread there and you will see your own.

Sorry to hear about your father. My father passed when I was 15. It's hard to get hit with a wrecking ball of life at such a young age.

This is a great place with lots of great people with a common interest. It goes further than that too in both terms of discussion and camaraderie.

Good luck in your search for a Shoki and stick around and have some fun!

This belongs in the WTB section. The reason you do not see posts in there is because based on your membership level you cannot reply to the hundreds of threads there (you need to buy a membership of Gold or higher to sell). Sorry you lost your knife, but I'm sure someone will have one to sell you. I would recommend leaving out the story and just indicate what you want and how to contact you. A large wall of text can easily be skipped over.
