What do you guys use for knife keeping, like displays and stuff? That's my question. I posted it at general talk nearly 20 min ago and have already been passed by 6 different threads with no answer :grumpy:. I know I can rely on this thread.

most of my knives are distributed between bobs and different kits i.e. (car kit..wheeler kit....first aid kit.....) and the ones I don't use often are in my gun safe....I try to fit my knives to the kit it is in........My bowfishing kit has a knife that is made of aus 8 instead of my favorite 1095 because I bowfish in marsh areas with brackish water and salty air. I have stainless knives in car kits because i am so close to Gulf of Mexico. My hunting and camping kits have my RAT's......And no matter where i go...I always edc. my izula and a kershaw ken onion....Drew

I just have a toolbox with all my knives and related junk in it. Weighs about 75lbs and I can't really fit another thing in it.

Like shotgunner, I have one small foam-lined metal suitcase that holds all my knives. Collection isn't so big, so I can get away with just one case. Not sure how I'm going to store my soon-to-be-acquired RAT machete though...

I'm with Shotgunner. I use old tackle boxes since I seem to have about a billion of them. And the ones not in there are being used in pockets, cars, bags, or just waiting to be used in my junk drawer in the kitchen.

i dont display... i safe em.. if there not in the safe , i have some on my desk so i can pick my edc... and carry what i feel like. and yes i have a set of knives that sit with my suit that i rarely have to wear. i have some stashed here and there... in the kitchen i have a magnetic block .... i love magnetic blocks....

.... now you will see a rant if i see any one put a knife in a dish washer.....

That's not a half bad idea AKnife. I got a green one when I ordered my Marathon T-SAR from countycomm and unless I plan on traveling to a watch gtg soon I could just start using it to store some of my knives .

I got the idea from cutlerylover on youtube awhile back. It's great for storing knives.

all my backpacking gear and survival kit items are in a big old chest of drawers in my garage, ammo is in ammo cans in the garage and bedroom closet. Blades are stored in top drawer of said chest of drawers. Folders in cigar box, fixed blades in sheath in drawer. My guns are.. well, I dont have any.;)

I have knives in two different packs, two in each, a med and smaller in each. I have a few in padded bag that I rotate out for e ach pack. I have a light pack, and a multi day pack.

I keep one in my pickup, I edc my izula. Use another for work and the rest of them( many) in two drawers.

Some people use those middle stacking drawers from the big Sears tool chests. Just a couple of drawers, steel construction, and lockable. Stack anywhere you've got the space.

i've got two old ammo boxes with random knives, hatchets, etc. my "good" knives fill the top drawer of my chest-of-drawers, and there are a few machetes stacked in the corner, some swords on a gun rack, and a couple more machetes in the trunk of my car.
