Hi,

My collection is growing and will soon outgrow the current case in which i store it in. Im using a type of toiletry kit with individual slots.

Please post your knife storage solution. I'm looking to gain some insight and ideas from your personal kits so i can upgrade my own. Photos would help.

Thanks,

Vit

i use this for most of my EDC stuff

i use this for my fixed blades, the case is about 5 inches thick and has pick and pull foam underneath....when i move ill probably consolidate my collection to this case for travel, although i make it a point to store my knives in separate locations as to avoid an entire loss should a burglary occur.

the safe queens go in the safe, of course, although ive been meaning to acquire a better safe and use the original as a diversion.

then ive got a kershaw case that zips, folds open and has the insert; ZT also makes a version and some other companies might also with their logo on it instead. it works, but it isnt neat or tidy or cool so the cheapies go in there.

good luck! i am always interested in ways to store knives; whether it be ease of access, security, accommodations (wool lining, foam, straps), and/or portability. love these threads. i should throw up an updated pic of the EDC box.

Thanks very much for the detailed response! I have a very simple edc box as well that sits on my desk. I've been considering a Pelican box or a Systainer Mini with pick and pluck foam but i still find them a little bulky. I might be moving out of the country sometime and want my knives in my suitcase and not in the boxes i will send home. A box like a pelican will just kill the space in my suitcase. Anyways, look forward to more posts here.
