Knife storage weekend project

I wanted something nice to store my knives in. I found tons of watch boxes, but the sections were too deep and small to store knives in. Decided to purchase this:

And this weekend turned it into this:

Holds 6 in each level and has the top and 3 drawers, so 24 knives. I have it less than half full, so it should hold me over for a while.

Just thought I'd share if anyone was interested in doing something similar.

Very cool! Got any more pics? How did you make the new dividers?

I'll take a few more pics tomorrow. The old lining came out pretty easy, and I relined it with some thin felt from Walmart. Used spray adhesive to attach the felt to poster board and then cut and glued into the box. The dividers were made with 0.95" plexiglass wrapped in the same felt with spray adhesive.
