I've recently been looking for at a pelican box, the harbor freight wood tool box or a drawer of some sort to keep my knives and or my edc things. I would like everyone's opinion or ideas. I need something that would be is somewhat potable and will keep my knives protected and have room to expand with my expanding knife collection. Thanks.

Pelican case with precut foam.
Particularly from a 6 letter website that starts with an N. (Not sure if they are a sponsor) PM me and I'll tell you. Their foam is top notch and they have 8,21,44,60,and 84 knife options already cut and ready to go.

I use machinist chests including one from Harbor Freight and a Pelican Case. For use at home I prefer the machinist chests but for portability the Pelican case is my preference.

portable = bad = easy for burglars to carry away

I use stackable Craftsman tool chests. It's an expandable system by simply adding more/larger chests and intermediate drawer sets. And when loaded with knives, they're heavy enough and large enough as to not be easily carried off. They aren't as secure as a real floor safe of course, but they do lock well enough to keep kids' and curious house guests' fingers off the knives.
My latest expansion is a 42" tool table with drawers.

Not this exact model, but similar. This blue one weighs 185 lbs empty. I'd like to see some crackhead trying to drag it down the alley, loaded with a couple hundred pounds of large fixed blades. :D
