Recommendation? Knife Storage

I have a Randall Made Model 12 - Bear Bowie, A Survive! GSO 5.1 and a couple of upcoming Busse Last Rites. The Busse's and the Randall Made are both around 14" in overall length and all I seem to be able to find is either way too long, or just a little too short. I'm looking for a storage box to put them in (along with a desiccant pack to keep humidity levels in check) so the don't have to be loose in my safe. Does anyone have a recommendation, or something they've used successfully themselves for knives of those lengths? Thanks for your input.

Since I'm not sure if this is in the correct place I may post it in another location too.

Have you looked at Pelican cases? They come in a variety of sizes, colors, and are water tight. They can be pricey tho. There are substitutes out there.

Cheap solution, go to Harbor freight -> tool storage -> tool boxes and check the the 18 x 6 x 13 black or silver aluminum cases for under $30. Might need to find some foam but should be perfect to put in a safe.

Don't forget to get a 20% off coupon too, they are...everywhere :D

Ive been using pelican cases to store by blades for years now with no complaints. They are a little pricey but they have them in just about every size you can think of plus a couple places do custom foam inserts (an easy enough diy job).

How about a Rubbermaid Roughneck tote? Comes with a snap on lid. Available in different sizes for not much more than $10 each.

Mechanic’s Toolbox/Chest seems to be the way to go. Check Harbor Freight or Amazon for one of these:

Measurements: 20.75” W x 10.5” D x 13.75” H

Just need to check it over carefully if you order online as there are either some QC issues or some take some corner damage on shipping.

Will probably go this route myself.

Forgot to mention don’t use glue unless you plan to bury them in the yard. lol!
