Lately I've been trying to organize things around the house and have found boxes and drawers containing literally dozens of knives that I've ordered over the years and forgotten about. And not like one or two dozen. And that got me thinking that the difference between hoarding disorder and perfectly sane collecting is organization.
A long time ago, I could get by with a mechanics tool chest (the kind with lots of drawers that lives in the garage, not the kind you carry around), but now that's not big enough even for just the FBMs and larger.
So I ordered a few "MTM ACR5 Ammo Crate Utility Boxes" from Amazon. They seem like a pretty good option for stuff up to about the size of an FMV-8. They're stackable and not too heavy even when filled to capacity, and they're more-or-less air tight, so moisture shouldn't be a problem (with a couple desiccant packs thrown in each). They seem pretty sturdy and they're not too expensive. They're not a complete Busse storage solution, but they worked out pretty well for me.
