Knife Stores in Delaware

My family and I will be in Lewes, Delaware for Memorial Day and the following week. It's near Rehoboth and Dewey Beach. Are there any stores that sell good knives in the area? Oddly, the only knife I've ever bought there (a Laguoile) came from Clearwater Creek, a woman's wear store!

Thanks for any suggestions.

I have not been there for about 10 years but in Greenwood DE, about 20 miles toward Dover from you is a nice shop in the basement of a guys house. I mean it is really a nice shop with a good selection as well.

W.G. Willey Knives (302)349-4070

Take 13 North to Rt. 16 east
Take first right go about a mile and look for the sign.

Also there is Rehoboth Custom Knives

I have never been there but did buy one through the mail from him.

Rehoboth Custom Knives is in Rehoboth, MASS- not Rehoboth, DE. Sunny's, which was on the Lewes-Rehoboth line on US 1 used to sell a lot of knives but it seems that they went out of business earlier this year (http://www.gazette.net/stories/040408/businew201447_32363.shtml). The wal-Marts in both Rehoboth (on US 1, in the same Plaza as Pizza Hut and the mall-- there's a good Chinese Buffet there as well:)) and Georgetown are well stocked with knives. I bought my Native at the Rehoboth Wal-Mart. There is a bait shop on 1 south as well (just before the Heritage Inn, they have a large cell phone in front of the store)- they sell a few knives, all of which are cheap Chinese and Pakistani imports (ie Frost and Master) as well as some Poultry House cutlery reground into bait and fish cleaning knives. Miller's Gun Shop in Lewes (they are on the route out to Georgetown) had some knives last time I was by there. If you are into Curio and Relic guns or military style semi-autos, they have an awsome selection. Miller's is one of my favorite destinations in that area.

Lived in DE for five years and all I can say is that Willey Knives is the best! Excellent selection, very friendly staff (and dog), and the prices are pretty reasonable for a B&M. Plus it's DE so you don't pay any sales tax.

Can't go wrong there.
