Knife stores in new orleans?

I'm heading down to New Orleans in about a week and will be there for 8 days. Any good knife stores or shops to check out while I am there?

Alpine knife world. It's in Metairie (just outside of New Orleans). They have a large selection of production stuff, mainly folders. There's an old guy there that loves talking knives and is knowledgeable. The rest of the staff not so much. I think they're open Wed-Sat till 5 or 6 pm. Decent prices for a B&M, some of the rarer stuff (his favorites) is priced to stay on the shelf. Fun place to check out in any case. You're likely to get a TON of restaurant recommendations while here, but if you like TexMex be sure to check Juan's flying burrito(uptown location is best). Best advice I can give you!
