I'll be out in Sin City next week and was wondering if there are any good knife shops in the area worth checking out?
Thanks folks,
Lenny

I'll be there on the 8th for the gunshow, last time i went, i only found three stores, the "gunstore" (that is the real name) only had united brand, one "sharp edge / sharp cuts" or something along those lines were changing owners and i missed their sale by a day, they were closed for about 2 weeks. last place is called "bond's house of knives" i think, it's a small place that is kinda hard to find, he's got some rather rare knives, but the prices on them is premium, benchmade 40T for 120 is the one that stuck out in memory, then there is the spyderco toad for 110. don't know if it came down lately but there were hardly anyone there last time i went.

go to the gunshow in cashman fields, i'm hoping that one will be good. take a look at my list of knives for trade if you want anything on there since we'll both be in town.

There is only one true knife store in the Vegas area. Bonds Cutlery which is located on West Sahara (the other side of town). Prices there are very high although he does have quite a selection on blades.

There used to be R&J Cutlery (formerly Blanchard's) out there, but they closed down at the beginning of this year. Now they are down here in Victorville.
