The knife moves in this film looked totaly stupid to me. Are they anything like a real knife style?

Cool film though

As an aside, why the hell do so many people think a Mini .30 is an AK-47? Sheeple

The part with the Bolo had a nice flow to it, not that he entirely knows what to do with one, but it was pretty obvious he had a Coach, as is usually the case, for the movie.

I guess if you are talking about the sword movements, I would have to agree, but the Bolo was OK.

As for the Ruger Mini-30/AK-47 Comparison, hmm, I don't know any "Sheeple" that would associate them, they usually don't have the knowledge to associate them other than the fact they are both detachable magazine fed semi-auto carbines/rifles. They are, however, the same caliber.

And the same goes for a knife...

First off, I thought Ghost Dog was a mucho cool flick. I DID have a problem with Forrest "flourishing" his pistol before he put it away, but that's a script thing. The mobster who liked Flavor Flav was hilarious!!

I'm not a knife fighter, but the stuff in the movie looked OK to me... maybe that SHOWS I'm not a knife fighter... But I AM an architect. The one big problem I had was when GD kills the mobster through the trap on his bathroom sink. Looked cool as hell, but not possible with modern plumbing. Ahhh, well.

My 7 year old son, called the movie "Slow Dog". I believe the name is fitting for the movie.
