My father recently told me that he'd like a new pocket knife for Christmas. He usually carries an Oldtimer, but said that he'd like something new. He wants a thin knife with only one blade. He wants a blade that is around 2", and absolutely no longer than 2.5". He also wants the knife to have a slim profile.
I've been looking at the Spyderco Dragonfly II or Ladybug, but I'm not sure he'll like the design of Spyderco's. Is there anything that meets these requirements that has a bit more of a traditional look to it? Even a Benchmade would be fine. I don't have a lot to spend, so I'm looking to keep it under $75.
