Knife Talk 2

I haven't picked up this book yet. I am wondering if it is a collection of Ed's articles from Blade magazine like the first book, or if there is anything in this book that has not been covered before.

I got the second signed copy from Ed at Blade. I've been reading it since I got home. I'm pretty sure it's all from Blade magazine articles, but it sure is greatt having them all toghether. I really enjoy the way Ed thinks, and writes.

If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be the Lewis & Clark knife. That's because I had so much fun continuing the joke here. :D

I haven't seen it, but if I do I'll buy it right away. I love the first KT, so more will be better!

I pcked up a signed copy from Ed like Phil did. It is a must have.

I read the first one. Enjoyed it very much. Now what are my chances of getting a signed Knife Talk II? :)

Just e-mail Ed and request one signed .He sold out at the show . I worked his table for a while so he could walk around and sold the last copy he had .

David,

I haven't finished the book yet but my favorite article so far is the one on maintaining carbon steel.

The snake bite is healing up nicely, I removed the stitches a couple of days ago, and it should be healed up within the next week or so.

Thanks for helping out with the display, you did a great job making that chest, my side of the table looked pretty drab compared to yours!

I've known Phil for a while now, but it was a pleasure meeting everyone else. Jerry, you really impressed me with your demeanor, you're a classy guy and a real gentleman.

Yeah Jose, like a gaggle of Fowler's could be called drab, but what really set off that display was a pair of Ed's leather chaps as a background...

So, how many Pronghorns do you need to buy before you get a pair of Chaps?

It was great to see all of you guys, but I think the guy I most enjoyed meeting was Bill Burke. I've had the opportunity to post several pics of Bill's knives here on BFC. Getting to handle them in person was a thrill.

Hey Phil,

Thank you. I really enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the people who stopped by and let me put faces to names. I also, whole heartedly agree with Jose. Jerry is one of the nicest people that I have ever met. He was kind enough to pick a couple of hillbillys up at the airport and take care of us. We were fed, beered and dropped at the hotel after being shown around a bit. THANK YOU JERRY.

Jose I,m glad that you are healing ok. You gotta learn to watch out for the fangs on them little devils.:D

Phil,

That's a good question, but what I want to know is, how many before you get a pony? :D

How about those 12" bowies Bill made? Did anyone get a chance to take any pictures?

Bill,

I know, how embarrassing, at least I could still make it to the show!

Hello folks,

Gee guys , thanks for the kind words.

Jose, I enjoyed our time and DAMN what a collection of Fowlers.

David, It was a pleasure to meet you and hope to see ya again next year.

Bill, It truly was a pleasure to pick you guys up and get some time away from the show . Tell Jim I said hello.

I met so many people at the show and had great time doing it . The knife community is a fine place to be .I knew people loved Eds' work but until I spent time around his table I just did not realize how much . And, that Burke fella had a pretty smokin show , selling basicly out Friday morning !!! Jose , yes sir those big Bowies were awesome and then some .I wonder if he takes monthly payments like a car loan ?;) :D

If I missed anyone , it isn't because I intended to,just haven't had much sleep again.

Regards,
Jerry
