Just got my lastest edition of Blade Magazine, and of course, I did my usual search for Knife Talk by Ed Fowler. Guess what, I found a Knife Talk article but it wasn't by Ed:grumpy: What's up with that? Now Ed... You know that we all wait for YOUR article and that the only reason that anyone subscribes to Blade is for the Knife Talk articles;) Is it just me or was anyone else dissapointed? (not that the article was bad, just not the same)

I hope so, I stop getting Shooting Times when
old Skeeter past away. An I hate to do the same
with Blade.:grumpy: ;)

The article was by my friend, Mike Miller MD. I figured it was time to add another view of what I make knives for, not only mine, but other knives and the essence of knives throughout their history. So many of the articles are about things that do not discuss what what I feel is the essence or soul of knife. Our civilization has gone city and not too many remain rural or remote. I always felt the other side of knives was understood by all, suddenly I realize that the kind of article Mike wrote is what knives are all about and felt it needed a little exposure.

Thanks for your comments I appreciate your thoughts.

I hope the new year is filled with your best dreams.
