I don't have any, but figure that some of us must have some wicked cool knife tattoos. Like a giant Rambo montage, or a little Benchmade butterfly on the ankle....

Anyone? Camera owners? The more I think about it, the more super curious I am.

I think most would prefer not to see any neo-nazi style/clockwork orange types, right?

thanks.

Wow- I was just going to post a thread about this as I saw a wicked animation on MMAweekly of Brock Lesnar's um...anatomic looking tatoo doing things in his mouth....

But I wanted to know if anybody has a REAL KNIFE tattoo... You know, something other than a fantacy dagger. Saw a pic on Pat Crawford's website of a guy's Crawford Kasper Folding Fighter tattoo- I think I would appreciate the tat more if it was an actual knife. I wonder how many people with a dagger tat claim to like only user knives?

I have a knife tatoo on my left middle finger, outside second knuckle. It's about 1' long and 1/16" wide. I got it when I was 15 and now it's barely visible.

i think a knife tattoo is when u get cut really bad...they like to make themselves into what ever they want...

I don;t think getting a tattoo is freaky..... it's childish. We all suffer from childish behaviour, but not all of us carry a permanent reminder of it. I don;t think any differently of guys with a tatoo or two than guys without, but when guys tat their entire arms up, or cover their backs and chest and sometimes up into their neck area, to me that's just evidence of throwing a tantrum.

I got two pretty nice tattoo's, (pretty old now though). One on each upper arm. I am very proud of the two I have, along w/ my kids. You see when each one of my children were born I got a tattoo for them, or for the ocassion, in rememberance, however you want to put it. Growing up they always considered that tat to be there's. My fiance has two quite beautiful tattoo's !!!! One pretty large one on her lower back (tramp stamp, lol) of roses and butterflies, and the same on her calf, with her child's name. My friend is a tattoo artist and he is almost sleeved up.

You realize people of all ages, cultures, political preferences, and religions collect tattoos right? Its a form of art and self expression that has been around for thousands of years and that a growing number of people enjoy. It has absolutely nothing to do with "being childish" or "throwing a tantrum". That you would presume to know that many people around the world's motivation and choices for their preference in art comes across as rather ignorant.

Its quite an experience to share with your kids. On my birthday this past fall my daughter, 7, and son, 5, paid my artist with some of their own money to have their handprints put on my chest, one on either side. It was a really big deal for them to get printed then sit through the process and see the finished result. What designs did you go with for your kids?
