Just got a new knife tattoo. Its based on a dagger I had Dan Graves make for me. I'm pleased with the results. What do you think?

That turned out great Colog. In fact, all you folks have some very interesting and incredibly well done ink. As a former career U.S. Navy Senior Chief, I'm kind of partial to the cutlass.:D

I like seeing other peoples work. I've gotten mixed reactions from people. But once I explain that im a knife nut they seem more receptive to it. My boss did not like it. I didn't see that coming. Oh well its there, not going away anytime soon.

I really like tattoo's (and I have several) but I have a hard time justifying then lately. It's something that is purely selfish. I'd prefer to donate that money (or feed my kids :D ), I've done the same with my knife budget lately.

It'll be nice when I can justify to myself a tattoo fund, I'd love to get covered someday.

A few weeks have passed since I was tattooed. The scabs have healed and I can finally see the results. First off, I have had this tat planed for years. It looks nothing like I had envisioned. My sheriff saw it on day one and didnt hide his displeasure. I've gotten several compliments and an equal number of "WTF" is that since then. I like it because I have always been a knife enthusiast. people who know me are not surprised. Thats what matters to me. Not the stranger I run into, but people who know me, know what it's about.
