Took 2 Siegles and a DP Chopper out for some testing

Brought Zeus along as well

I have a patient that has 80 acres full of Mesquite trees he can not stand-and I'm allowed to chop them silly anytime I want......

This is where I was

I had used the Siegle Nata(Black Handle) before--and it's one of my favorite choppers

It was the first time using the Tan Handled Siegle and thr DP Chopper.

With Mesquite being so HARD --you learn real quick how well a knife cuts and how comfortable a handle is.

All of them did very well.

I know the Siegle Nata would be the best chopper of the group-also has the most comfortable handle .

The Tan Siegle chops very well and is very comfortable..and FAST in hand.

The DP knife surprised me the most..Very comfortable and an EXCELLENT chopper for it's size.Handle is made of Corian(the kitchen counter material)..

Hope you enjoy the photos

Those Siegles are really nice. Zeus is looking quite fit and healthy too, get that boy a rabbit!

Thanks for all the kind words

Zeus is on a RAW diet-has been since he was 9 weeks old.

Great stuff as always buddy, gonna have to get me a Siegle one of these days !

Give Zeus a big pat for me !:)

All Siegles are good ... ;):)

Thanks for the pics and hope you kept that mesquite for your barbecue. Living out east, I miss my 'mesquite habit.':(

The sheath for that DP looks like a freakin canoe paddle:eek:. Looks like it'd be a great camp/all around big knife, what are the specs on it?

Dude, you're ridiculous for carrying three large blades in the woods. (Just kidding, it drives me nuts when people give someone crap for carrying many knives...) I really like the bottom one with the blue handle.

Looks like the perfect place to play with some knives. That's really cool that he let's you go there.

Always enjoy seeing your photos, but this one of Zeuss is outstanding, what a beautifull animal!

Doc I am glad you are putting that DP to use. It was doing me no good just sitting there. And the corian was comfortable. The sheath while cheesy works, have to admit that.

Love the yellow handle knife ! The handle looks very comfortabe, how did it do? Wow...Zeus is looking great, scratch him behind the ears once for me 'Ol Bud
