Knife that was used in Kill Bill...

I've been trying to figure out the knife that was used by Uma Thurman in the movie Kill Bill Vol.1 ...It can be seen very clearly when Uma and Vivica A. Fox as 'Copperhead' are fighting it out in the living room before 'Copperhead's daughter walks in... It looks really nice and I love that leather sheath.. well, if anyone has any info about this knife in Kill Bill, I'd be most grateful... Cheers. :D

P.S. if someone else has previously posted a similar thread ...I do apologize :)
 
That is the SOG Desert Dagger. I know, I've got one! :D

However, I don't know what is on the sheath. If anyone has that info, I'd appreciate it. :)

umm... i think u may have been mistaken... i believe the kitchenknife is what 'Copperhead' uses... but Uma uses a double edge knife. Another clear shot of the knife is when she retrieves it from 'Copperhead's dead body (she threw the knife clean across the kitchen)..and when she puts it in the brown leather sheath attached to her waist.


P.S. thanks so much guys.. i've been trying to find out info about that knife ever since the movie first came out... :)
 
In the hospital scene she takes a Buck 112 off the rapist and uses it to slash at Buck's ankles. She used a Buck to attack Buck.
 
Yep, it's a SOG Desert Dagger in a custom Leather sheath. I have one and they make great users, along with looking really cool! :cool:
 
Yeah if you slo mo the scene where she sheathes the knife and look at it frame by frame you can clearly see the SOG logo. You also notice that the sheath position moves between the long shots and the close up.

How sad is it that I know this? :o

I thought it was a SOG Pentagon model.
 
definalty without question a SOG desert dagger and check out this line from an early draft of the script...I love this:

The BRIDE
rises from the floor, and WHIPS OUT a KNIFE in a sheath hanging from her belt known as a SOG. (A SOG is a long, double-edged knife that's as sharp as a razor, and is what Navy Seals use to kill humans with.)

the rest of the script for that scene is heavily laden with the word SOG...she throws her SOG, the SOG penetrates the table and so forth.....was very fun to read.
 
Yep, the beautiful SOG desert dagger!

BTW, in reference to the SOG Pentagon, one appears in that recent movie that came out a couple months ago starring Ashley Judd, Samuel L. Jackson and Andy Garcia (forget the title). The Pentagon appears very briefly at the beginning of the movie against Judd's throat.
