I bought a used 520 recently and just took it apart down to the last screw. I cleaned up all of the old thread lock and lithium grease. I lubed the entire knife with RemOil and then put it back together. I followed the RemOil with some FP-10 on the pivot points once back together. The knife is working perfectly now. It locks up nice and tight with zero blade play. I am wondering if I should now go back and put new thread lock on the screws? It seems to be staying tight so far.

Also, there is a plastic piece that seperates the two liners. I forget what it is called, but on my 520 it was just some of those "shoulders" instead. Is there a way to install these in place of that plastic? It would look a lot better and I am betting it would be easier to keep clean also.

Thanks!
