Guro Mark Conroy began training Sayoc Kali over fifteen years ago and holds a rare Full Instructor rank. He's also crosstrained in BJJ under Renzo Gracie's lineage for some time.

As an active duty law enforcement officer he's covered some tough neighborhoods and some VERY serious cases.

A newspaper article was posted several years ago on the Sayoc website that commended Officer Conroy's on duty takedown of a knife attacker in a dark alley in Jersey without firing a shot. The knife attacker was wielding a blade way over the legal limit. One of those scenarios that people train for but wish they would never have to experience.

Guro Mark is also part of the Sayoc Tactical Group, and has also taught LEO and military in the use of impact, edged and other weapons.

I would highly recommend taking this rare opportunity to train under Guro Mark.
