I am a long time martial arttist (25 years) just getting into this end of the arts. I noticed a few Jersey guys posting. I've actually worked with a lot of tactical operators (SWAT, DEA etc..) on "tactical strength and conditioning". I'm going to Rick Tucci's place tomorrow to check out a Kali class.

Anyone know of any good FMA training in South Jersey?

What part of South Jersey are you from?

My group, Bayani Warrior Systems, is based out of Edison, NJ...it's more in the central Jersey area.

God Bless,

Hi Fox46,
Bridgewater BoundBrook area, I know it's not South but....
Alex Wilkie teaches some interesting stuff. On Wednesday nights he runs a Russian Martial Arts (Systema) / Stick & Knife Fighting Escrima style. Don't know the exact schedule and what he's covering at the moment, been a while. He used to just teach along Escrima lines on Wednesday, but the Russian really got interesting in the knife end and he starting linking the 2 classes together. Worth a look if it's not too far.

Both of those look cool. Both are about 60 mile from me. I really like the systema/knife connection, as I'm pretty into Sonnon's stuff through the clubbell stuff.

I'm really hoping something will pop up closer to home given my schedule. The best I could do with these is some privates, which still leaves the problem of acctually working on the stuff.

Yes, I did. Did the Kali and Silat classses. Very professional school, nice folks, not exactly what I was looking for.

If you are in the Jersey area - I would recommend taking a look at training with Atienza Kali.

Check out their website at atienzakali.com
