I made a video about how I "tune" the action of my flippers. I am curious what other think about my method. Its basically lubing and bending the lock bar.

great video, thanks for sharing. found alot of information on this site about tuning and even some lube options (tho one of the oil's he uses in his concoction is also snake oil) http://blades-blades-blades.blogspot.jp/ he mentions a pivot flip in one blog post and even the use of teflon tape instead of locktite for some of his pivots.

2. nick shabazz is just a normal guy, he just does what he does, he's not an expert. i enjoy his videos very much tho, the only thing that makes me irate is how he lubes knafs as a whole, both pb washers and bearings.

3. wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much lube. you can wipe it all off with a q-tip and there would still be enough on there.

use whatever you want and how ever you want. i just want to make this aware. its quite annoying to see something thats snake oil spread so wide and far, even when there is so much against it in years prior.

I've never tried nano oil. This is not the first time I have seen someone saying that nano oil is garbage.

So.....what is it about nano oil that makes so many people say it is poopoo? Are then any good reasons or is it just a preferance thing?

may be you should join the bobistheoilguy forums and learn a bit more about the subject mater before calling someone ignorant for avoiding something that is clearly snake oil from every aspect. 2 posts and already talking shit to someone without anything to say in your argument why someone might be ignorant as you say. nor am I selling anything wtf?
