Knife used in latest dexter episode

Hey, on the latest dexter episode Season 7 Ep 09 I wanted to know what knife dexter used to assassinate the assassin at the gun range. I only have a good look at a partial hilt and the blade tip Here are the photos.

I was wondering the same thing. Definitely looks to be some kind of Busse and I think the show has used some Busse knives in the past. You might bring this up in the Busse subforum if you don't get any answers here.
 
It could be exaggerated a bit, but Busse makes some large knives so I wouldn't be surprised if it was that long. I noticed you are new here, so forgive me if you are already familiar with Busses, but if you aren't check them out. They are some of the coolest knives made, and one is used on The Walking Dead as well. You can actually still buy that model irght now on their website. I have one and it is by far my favorite fixed blade.
 
the "official" busse site seems to only have two models. I'm no blade expert by any means, don't even own a proper one. I just like looking at them and want to own one that is practical and that I like. This one caught my eye just because it seemed very agressive and the butt of the knife is appealing (like most butts should lol)
 
Ha, yeah Busse only offers certain models for periods of time and then they come out with a new model and retire the old ones. If you can pinpoint the particular model used in the pic you will likely be able to find one for sale on the exchange here at some point, although the price will likely be a bit inflated as most Busses are after their production run is over.
 
Looks like you aren't the only curious about this. There is another thread going on the same topic and it seems the opinion is that it is either a Busse HOGFSH, NMSFNO, or NMFBM.
