Knife used to kill bobcat after person is attacked.

For some reason I read the title as something where a person was attacked by a bobcat before getting stabbed as well. :D:eek:

Here is. Wonder what knife?

Shortly after, her son also arrived at the scene with a gun and a knife.

“My son stabbed it four or five times, but it never budged so I knew it was completely dead,” she told Athens Banner-Herald.

The knife wasn't used to kill it, just to make sure it stayed killed. :D

edit: D'oh! SoCal posted while I was writing my reply. ;)

I'm betting this was a zombie bobcat that came back to life after the choking and had to be stabbed before going down for good. The media just doesn't want it to get out and cause widespread panic.

Back in May, a man in Georgia killed a rabid coyote with a Benchmade 580-2.

Must be something about Georgia.

In our area I have seen deer, bears, a lynx, a fox, several rabbits, a few snakes, and many lizards. Non have ever been aggressive toward me or my family. Stabbing them or shooting them has not crossed my mind (except for rattlesnakes). Seems to me that people are not thinking about where they are or how to behave when they get there. I see people listening to music on headphones while running past me in the mountains. Makes no sense to me.

This story's going to be way less impressive when we find out it's a cat named Bob instead of a bobcat.
