Knife value

Wow, very nice knife.
Maybe put it on Ebay, I think it will get there a good price. Last .0,4 MOAB I saw there quite a while ago was well used and went for a little more than 2k.

If you wanted to post it here and avoid posting it on other auction websites, it would seem like they have sold for about $1500 or so, going on the last few ones that sold here. Not sure though. Beautiful knife

My firstborn is yours.

now I just need to figure out how to impregnate myself, carry it to term, birth it, and not be attached to it.

Does anyone here know how to do that with a bag of 1246 one dollar bills?

$2K+ from what I’ve seen. What did these retail at originally?

I would agree with these

Maybe more like at least 2500.00 to 3000.00 or even 3500.00 to 4000.00 if it went for a boat ride to another country ;)

That one is pretty rare, satin finish with smooth snakeskin.

I am pretty sure new it would have been about 2200.00 If I remember correctly

If it was mine I would ask 3500.00 and maybe go down but not below 2500.00

In my experience the thickness does not make a huge difference, most of the time.

David spelled it out right here with this description, which should be reflected in his price quote on the higher end...Beautiful Piece!!

Looks like quite alot. $2500 seems pretty cheap considering rarity, the original price, and 20 years of inflation.

The MOAB isn't a standard production piece. Jerry was taking order as of a couple months ago but that could have changed. To my knowledge many are on order but only one has made it out of the shop to date. Believe it or not it's design purpose was to be a joke...I'm not joking. His hope was that once he released something that big in 3/8" all of us fatty lovers would shut the hell up...yeah right, like that ever had a chance of working :)

There is no balance. It's very forward heavy just like you can imagine from looking pictures.

These were the prices in '03, I'm sure they have went up since then...

$1600.00 - Any Coated Finish
$1800.00 - Double Cut Finish
$2000.00 - Satin Finish

Agreed. This is technically one of the few “holy grail” model Busses, and I don’t use that term loosely after almost 20 years into beating/collecting these knives.

I would personally not be surprised if someone paid $3500+ for this specific one.

Nice knife if your Arnold Schwarzenegger,
Also most knives are not selling these days compared to a few years ago.
