Hello everyone , I'm new to the forum ,but not new to knives and manufacturing . I've owned a tool&die shop for 35yrs., and been a knife enthusiast and collector longer. I see a lot of people saying why does this cost this much and that that much, its all the same material? I don't know companies profit margin or anything like that, but I know in short run or mass production you would profit more from a $250 malibu than a $750 morpheus. There's a lot more to it other than steel and titanium ! , thats my 2 cents.
Thanks , Bill

Where knives are made matters, especially not hand-made but rather knives that require multiple people, because of wages, healthcare, etc. Pro-techs are made in California (at least mine was), so labor costs would be higher than a similar knife made in Malaysia, China, etc.

Very true, I was referring to usa manufacturers , and I love my malibu and pretty much all folding knives from all over😁
