I respectfully ask if it is appropriate to ask in this forum if someone may have a specific knife for sale. The knife wanted section appears unused. Please feel free to answer frankly. Thanks
 
No. This is a discussion forum.
All sales/trades/want to buy threads must go in the appropriate area of the exchange forum.

To add to what Karda has already stated, you can't see active threads in the Want to Buy section of the Exchange because of your membership. That's why it appears as you said "unused" as only Gold members and above can see what is there. This does not however prevent you from posting in the Want to Buy section. Give it a try. :)
