Need some options on wedding gifts. Need three knives total. I will be getting them engraved, probably with their first names (Cant think of anything better). Thus far I was leaning toward a SAK or Leatherman. I like the Leatherman freestyle or Alox Victorinox and have even been thinking about Case/Schrade. Budget is still open for change but anywhere up to $50 or so per blade. Have also thought about getting a small flashlight to toss in (AAA) like the FOURSEVENS Preon 1. What do you all think, provide links if you can?

Kershaw Cryo. Affordable, ergonomical, and just plain cool. Hinderer looks with a budget price tag.

I got a Buck 110 for a groomsmen gift once. It was a great gift idea. A leatherman would be cool too because it would appeal to non-knife people too.

for $50, why not Kershaw Blur? Or less with a Skyline and other of their offerings. I think Spyderco delicas are also really cool

Now if you had a big budget, I would say get a Benchmade 940, one of the most beautiful knives imo.

A friend just suggested a Kershaw rainbow Leek/Scallion/Chive. Additional suggestions for rainbow/damascus type blade?

Kershaw leek.

Its a great knife, comes sharp, is fun to play with, easy to engrave, lifetime warranty, made in America, looks classy, and best of all you can get them brand new in box right around the $30 mark.

I really like the FourSevens Preon 1 and I think that it would be a great touch especially if you do not want to get everyone the same thing. There are tons of knives for under $50 just depends on what your looking for. The SAK is always a great option and if your looking for a traditional then an engraved Case or Buck would be great. Spyderco Delica or Tenacious if you go modern.

I second the leek.

Great knife for the money and there's plenty of room to engrave a name onto.

The Leek or the Scallion get my vote. Personally love the rainbow Scallion as my formal carry. We have sold them as groomsmen gifts many a times and gotten a lot of positive feedback!

I'd go with the Victorinox Alox Pioneer, maybe get initials/wedding date engraved on the main blade. For leatherman's, the wingman is very useful, though just isn't as nice to hold and use compared to the SAK. As far as Case knives, really just pick one that's got a big enough space to engrave and it'll be a good choice.

Another traditional knife to consider would be the Queen Country Cousin. It's a basic sodbuster pattern but with D2 and a good price. The blade is large enough to engrave just about anything on the sterile side.

Also, the Fenix E05 is awesome. Good luck!

I got my groomsmen case mini copperlocks that were engraved on the blade. that's what I would go for.

I second this suggestion. The SAK is widely known and will be appreciated by non-knife/multi-tool folk. It is not "tacticool" like most modern folders, or "old tymey" like traditional slip joints. It even has a "Swiss Made" charm to it. Hell, there is even an engraving plate on the back of the handle.
