Mine is my Rekat Sifu, as per usual the lock fails everytime you spine tap it twice [my unacceptical issue with any lockback]. Everything else about this knife I love, beautiful ergos, blade shape and choice of materials. Originally I ordered it with G10 scales and black ATS 34 blade. Because of limited supply I was sent a knife with Carbon fibre scales and D2 enhanced blade, probably an upgrade for no extra cost Sorry about no photos, this is my first post and my computer skills are pretty basic

my spyderco spyderfly...its a bitch to sharper because of the blade shape but its so fun to flip :)

Emerson commander, the liner lock has worn out for the second time in less than a year (its been collecting dust for about 2 now) the steel has a softer HT= poor edge retention and I don't really like the single sided edge grind. For all that I don't like about it I still miss carrying it because of how good it felt in the hand and how it never backed down from a challenge. I stopped carrying it because it kept letting me down with its excessive liner wear and lack of edge holding but its still my favorite knife, I guess you could say we went through a lot together.

GOOD QUESTION!!

Ontario RAT Model 1 Folder.

I should hate it because it has AUS-8. This steel has never been kind to me. Blame the user in this case because AUS-8 is not a bad steel. I can’t sharpen it well and when I do it dulls quickly.

I should hate it because it has a honking big thumb busting studs. I hate that.

I should hate it because it feels cheaply made (at first.)

I love it because it SNAPS into position with authority.
I love it because it’s FFG AUS-8 blade has held it’s edge.
I love it because it carries well and is somewhat comfortable.
I love it because it cost me only $25 :)

I don't particularly like the blade shape of my Boker subcom. I find it is too wide for its length. Having said that I like the ergonomics and the thin profile.

My Benchmade 710 was a pain until I ground the recurve out of the blade. The Benchmade Gaucho has the same problem but has too much recurve to remove. I have several knives which came with spear points or drop points. I like sharp points, so I ground clip points on all of them.

Well I didn't think I would like the RAT1 either til I got one and then I ordered 3 more! Excellent quality of build. The others are NAVY knives made in China. Superbly made, very inexpensive and the 440c seems to be heat treated very very well and I have to say that the NAVY knives are really just damn fine cutting tools. Who'd a thunk it. keepem sharp

I really didn't like the BM 940s blade shape till I started to EDC it, and now it's one of my favorite knives.
