Knife

Years ago I ordered a knife from Ramon Pressburger. He called to say the knife was finished and I asked the final price. Mr. Pressburger asked me if I was honest. The question surprised me. I told him I was. He said he would send me the knife and if I liked it to call him back and then we would talk about payment. This was my first dealing with a custom maker and I was amazed that he would do this with a stranger. Quite a guy.

You can't beat that... :) I did'nt know Ramon... personally, but the Guy I traded with did. He sure done some fabulous work... Honesty and Trust is a great thing... :D

Nice looking piece E.P. You guys have hit one of the aspects I love about knives and their makers. You can meet a person, place an order over a handshake have the knife show up later on and send the payment in. Trust between people is a good thing!

Am glad you Guys like it... (Knife) :D Actually I was wrong... Ramon passed away Spring 2002... not this year. He was 77.

I just happened to google his name because I was thinking of him. Thank you guys for appreciating his fine craftsmanship and honest way of doing business.
