Mine looks different than the pin in my micarta inlay version. It's a smooth tube with a single flange on one side. Just curious why it's different and which side the flange is supposed to support.

Mine came with the "flange" contacting the CF scale and has been reassembled that way every time without discernible ill effect.

The flange seems to be slightly wider at one end that side goes against the ti slab.

Thats right thats the link. I was asking the maker if he could make a lanyard pin/backspacer type titanium piece that would serve as lanyard pin to fill the hole and backspacer that is flush with the frame or look like a gear
