Knifecenter Exclusive S90V Green G10 Native

Man, I wish the Manix came in this configuration! I sold my backlock Manix off and I kinda regret it now. I hope they come out with another steel besides s30v...

Sigh...... I'm gonna have to just start having my paychecks direct deposited into Sal's account :(

I think my wife would kill me if another Knifecenter box shows up... but this one is really cool.

This is a really interesting version being linerless and lighter than the standard G-10 Native 5. It's just a little too small for my hand. Good news for my piggy bank!

this or the fluted carbonfiber version? ill take the CF, but this is a much cheaper option. only if Knifecenter didn't actively advertise Quartermaster/made in usa, then id buy knives from them.

Haha! No joke my wife just walked in the door about 20 minutes with a Knifecenter box (Tasman Salt 2) and a package from KSF (Northwoods Lincoln Jack). I may have to try out your strategy next time.

The smooth G10 really gives the knife a premium feel IMO, almost metal like. The construction is like the new linerless CF models: PB washers larger screws and clip like the lined G10 model, but floating stop pin like the linerless FRN model. It is noticeably lighter than the lined model, but not holy shit light like the FRN model. Forum member APS mentioned that the G10 edges have a larger radius than the lined model, which you can see in one of the pics below. The light plays tricks with the smooth as glass G10, sometimes making it look lighter or darker than the 2013 forum Native, but I'm pretty sure it's the same color G10.

Initially I thought I would skip this one, but I'm glad I didn't. Man I love dark green G10!

Thanks for the pics abbazabba! You really like the green I see. Does the lock up sound like a bear trap on this green Native?

It has great lock bar tension IMO and definitely locks up with a satisfying sound, though probably not as alarming as the Manix2 Lockback.

what's all this talk about diverted paychecks and angry wives? work overtime, raid the christmas jar, scrounge bottles, shovel someone's snow, mow someone's grass.

must.. have.. trying.. to hold.. back. lol deciding tho between this and the blurple version.

Want a heavy duty beast? Go with the blurple with liners. Want to pair it with bigger folders/fixed blades? Go with this light weight version

Nice Native! I can't keep up with all these stellar Spyderco releases. Lotta nice knives this year.
