Hi folks,

I received this email today and I have no knowledge of this maker. Does anyone know of him, and maybe have some contact info so I can help out the sender of this message? Google doesn't seem to know.


"I purchased some incredible handmade knives years ago that we're made by David W Grant. He was from the east coast.

He also made the sheaths

We bought them from his friend.

Do you have any contact information on this person."

I've never seen that name. I just checked the Knives Annuals 1985, 2000, and 2014. No mention. Sounds like a maker who did nice work, didn't take the time to register in the Annuals, and then faded out.

I hope I'm wrong. Because that scenario always devalues the knives to simple useability. A maker needs to have a presence.
