Knifemaker makes judgement on knifemaker based on age

The post below was made by Kit Carson (in reference to me) to Steve B. on the Good Bad and Ugly forum. I interpret to mean that he has a problem with me (and anyone else for that matter) that was born after 1972. I don't judge anyone based on there age, and I don't feel I should be either. What do you think?

SteveB, this issue has been discussed, face to face, between the three of us. It will probably be discussed again at our next annual meeting. You simply don't have a clue. With only about 1% of knowledge that you have on this subject, why don't you just walk away. It doesn't concern you.

What concerns me is a person who was about 20 when our president was elected and has watched him spin everything. Lying is okay, doing anything you can to stay in office is okay. That's what has happened in the last 8 years and it has badly influenced the younger crowd. That's NOT the way business, especially our knifemaking business should work. I would have to assume that you fall into that younger crowd, so it's okay to do that. After all, it wasn't really sex.

I won't post again until you do. I know there will be more to say.

You other guys, don't forget to make that note in your DayTimer.

Lynn, Kit's real problem with you has nothing to do with your age. I think you know that.

Your response to this should be in the thread were you took this quote from. Stirring up more trouble by posting this in the general forum is not going to be allowed.

The real problem with all of this is that only a very small number of people really understand what is going on here. I wish you guys would fight this out via email or phone. But if you Must do it publically, use the GBU forum. This whole thing meets two of three of the criteria for that place. This argument is both Bad and Ugly.

I'll leave this thread here, but locked. That should get some people to rush over to GBU to help you out
