I hope this is the right forum for this....Does anyone know of custom knifemakers in the Spokane Washington/North Idaho area (not Buck Knives of course, although they are moving to Post Falls, Idaho)?
I'd appreciate names and contact information if possible.

One of our finest, Bruce Bump, is in Washington state. He is a ABS Master Bladesmith. Do a search here for his contact info.

I'll second the nod to Bruce Bump for mighty fine knives. As an alternative, TJ Smith is in Naches, WA and puts out some nice knives too. If you are willing to talk to someone on the wet side of the mountains, Nick Wheeler does impeccable work.

BTW, what size and style of knife do you have in mind??? Some makers specialize in doing bigger vs smaller blades, hunter/skinner vs fighter vs sharpened-prybar vs puukko, hi-carbon vs stainless steels, etc
 
Thanks guys! I will check these out...I'm interested in a variety of services...ranging from custom knives (i prefer big blades) to some reprofiling/customizing of existing knives.
 
I figure from the way you asked you wanted some one close to home so....

One of the closest and a good one is: Mike Mann of Idaho Knifeworks is just up the road in Spirit Lake, Id http://www.idahoknifeworks.com/
I know Mike's work and can recommend it - he makes hand forged Bowies, camp knives, and more.
