I like making knives. I am not prejudice of styles or genre's. It can be Tactical, dress, kitchen cutlery, brut de forge, Japanese and the list goes on!!
I really like it when I see other makers that don't tie themselves to one style. Burt foster and Jason knight come to mind, those guys make a little bit of everything, and make them all look good!!

Here are 2 I just finished up. The first one is a Scout fighter that I made for my Dad, for his 30th wedding anniversary. Blue is his favorite color, and this is his favorite blade style I make. The blade is 1/4" O1 that has been acid etched and tumbled. The pins are carbon fiber and it has a copper tube.

The second is a small 5" chef knife. The blade is Aldo's 1095, and the handle is stabilized Amboyna burl. Again carbon fiber pins, and a stainless mosaic pin. It also has a tapered tang. This one is going to the OKCA mini winter show in december.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks a bunch guys!

I like them both but the burl one is hard to beat. You have a tight contrast on the heat treat line and nice tapered tang. Good ergonomic grip too.

Beautiful Knives! I have been following your facebook page and I love all your designs.

Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate all the feedback!

Thanks Ben for making your Mom such a great anniversary present to give me. Much nicer than the jewelry she wants me to get for her:)

Very nice, I like both....

On the second, I would have preferred without pins, only 4 black points...

??

Thanks Dawkind!
Berno - Thanks. That would have been more my norm with the 4 Carbon fiber pins. I wanted to class it up a bit so I went the mosaic pin. I appreciate the input!

Thanks Nick & Scott, I really appreciate it!!

I love the tapered tang on your dads knife. Very sleek, incorporating a lot of function, and style. How much would you normally sell a knife like that?

fantastic:D:thumbup:

the kitchen knife is something I dig a lot, looks very practical...and super nice!

Thanks Duro and Lorien.

Beauties...I really dig the scout fighter, fantastic blade. The stock on the chef looks a little on the thick side? Maybe it's just me, beautiful knife though, top notch work all around for sure.

Edit: What are the chances you would be willing to work with a steel like CPM 3v in the scout design? I don't know how back up your schedule is but I would definitely be interested in something like this, I love this design.

Thanks,
-Kevin
