I hope this is in the right area, if not can a mod please move it? Thank you.
With the start of my High School senior year in less than a month I am supposed to do a senior project which can be a 20 Hour Job shadow or I can learn a new skill or write a book, I'm going to choose to learn a new skill. I'm an amateur Knifemaker in my spare time but I want to learn more. I will have to wait about 6 weeks to see if I can get this approved but I figure I can start ahead of time. Are there any knifemakers near or in Yakima that would be willing to let me sit in and watch them work or work with them for 20 hours so I can learn?
I figure if I have to do a Senior Project then i'm going to do something I like. I also figured that Bladeforums would probably be the best place to start because it covers a huge spectrum of people from all places.
Thank you.

Tyrone, I will contact John Davis and see if he would be interested. He is a very talented maker in Selah. He does not suscribe to the forums, and has a very busy schedule. stay tuned, I will respond Mon.
