Knifemaking Nightmare???

Maybe my wife is right, maybe this knifemaking "hobby" has gotten a little out of control! Last night I had a very vivid dream about it. I was tempering some blades in my toaster oven, looking intently at the thermometers and the temperature kept rising and rising, past the 410 that I usually use for O-1 blades! It didn't stop until it maxed out the thermometer at 550. The blades turned purple, then I woke up. I have to say, I was pretty upset by this dream! Anyone know of a support group or 12 step process for me?!?! Any one else ever have "Knife- Terrors"???

I dont have a problem with dreams. I have a problem getting to sleep with all the knife ideas flashing through my head. I've got a book on the nightstand with many a wee hours drawing in it.

i should also have a pad by the bed
most times its like 1230 100 till i get to sleep as i look over a few knife mags tring to relax before bed
