I have a couple of fixed blade knives that I cannot identify. The first one is a bowie style knife that measures 15 1/4 inches from tip to pommel. Has a bone looking handle, with horses on the pommel end. Comes with a leather sheath with a snap lock. I do not know how to add pictures so if someone could help then I will post.

I am not looking for value of the knife, just any information anyone can provide such as the manufacturer, how old and who made it etc.

Pakistani Bowie, 80's or 90's. The long ricasso, sheath, and type of bone handle are big giveaways. Places like SMKW, Parker, etc.... were bigger dealers in them back then. Smoky Mountain especially, this one might of been sold under their Ole Smoky line. They are based somewhat on an older pattern, and many were just ink stamped with the country of origin, so fakers sometimes use them as bait.

If that, you can still get very similar knives at a flea market today.
Often this stuff just has pakistan stamped on in ink or an extremely fine etch which wears away in no time at all.
