Went to the Badger Custom Knife Show in my hometown here in Wisconsin this weekend...had a little cash in my pocket and was looking for a score....well I got one;-) I had probably walked the room about 4 times, each pass I stopped at two tables...Most of the stuff at this show was traditional & fixed blades, and of course lots of production tables as well. But there was one Mikkel Willumsen, and one Matt Cucciara Dorado that I just couldnt stop looking at. Both were reasonably priced, and each time I stopped to fondle them I was chatting up the purveyors. Both were really cool guys, and both kept creeping the price down a hair from their original asking price...they both knew I was gonna buy today, so I played them off each other. The Cucciara stopped going down just a bit above what I wanted to spend...but when the seller of the MW dropped his price again for this beauty I had to get it, and believe me I got a DEAL
!!! This is my first full custom folder, and I am pumped up!!! This thing has everything I was looking for and a bit more, considering my price limits. I also really like the simplistic utilitarian style this one has. MW can make some pretty crazy stuff
I didnt even realize it has a hidden pivot (show side) until I got it home and started seriously studying it! Here are some specs:
9 1/8" Overall Length
5" Closed
Blade - 4 1/8", RWL-34 Blade Steel, Willumsen
Urban Tactical Acid Etch
Liners - Titanium
Clip - Flamed Ti
Scales Black G-10 And Titanium With IKBS
Hidden Pivot (Show Side)
I have an e-mail out to Mikkel to get some more info, this style Perock is a bit different than some of the older versions, if any of you have MW's post up pics!!

Some of you will think I was nuts for passing on a Dorado...but it wont be the first time i've been called crazy.
This also my first blade using RWL-34, so Im pretty excited to see how tough this stuff is....and yes, I plan on USING this knife
If you have experiences with RWL 34 I would love to hear some feedback on ite performances...
