Well guys the other day my wife and I were talking and she asked me if she was a good "knifewife" lol!!!!! I told her she was a very good Knifewife!!!
after all for my birthday she bought me a leek, for valentines day a small swiss champ for my keychain, for x-mas an m-18, and for my birthday before that a boker red bone handled thumb stud linerlock, ect. ect. ect. Wow am I lucky, christian woman and good Knifewife!!! God is good!!! ;)

Now tell me guys! are your wives good Knifewives???
and for those of you who are single are your girlfriends good knifegirlfriends????

...and not to leave anyone out! for those of you who are single without a significant other, are your moms good Knifemoms??? (oh yeah I have one of those too!!! :D )

She's a keeper.

My wife is still in denial. She still asks me "Why do yo need so many knives?"

Someday...;)

hey Elvis!! theres
hope for every woman!!!

When my wife and and first got married I had all 300-plus knives in our bedroom and the gun cabinent.
she said she could'nt sleep at night and me I wasnt being very sensitive ad told her to get it over. she couldnt understand how I could sllep with all that in our bedrrom, me I was happy as can be falling alsleep looking at my knife cases all over the walls and dressor!! chest ect.
she never quite understood that coming from Arkansas these things are second nature.

well after the first three months of our marriage the Lord touched my heart and told me to move the guns, and knives in another room.

well since that day she has been nothing , but supportive!! of my knife collection!!! oh before that she did buy me knives, but after that she seemed well, more supportive!!!! ;)

My wife accepts, but does not exacly support my knife habit. She has only bought me a couple of knives. Better than average I guess, I will keep her.;)

Mine supports my addiction, but professes to not understand it.

She knows that knives are the best gifts for me.

After deciding to not have any more kids, I got fixed:eek: , but when I got home there was a brand new William Henry Pearl Handled P10 Lancet, what I like to call my Vasectomy knife.

I am probably one of the luckiest guys around. My wife lets me buy anything I want as long as I have the money to buy it. Anything. If we have $400 spending money, I can spend $350 on knives if I want:D

wwwhheewww what a woman!!!

Prais God she didnt do the vasectomy with the knife!!!

I would've been reeeeaaaalll supicious if she had given you a stockman with a large spey blade before you went in!!!!

Hey rev I was knocked out when they did it, now ya got me wonderin'.

I'll have to ask when I see her later.:D

My girlfriend never understood... but she was quite fascinated to say the least. She was more concerned about the safety of having all these knives. So she made a deal with me that if I ever majorly cut myself, eg. have to go to the hospital, then I would have to sell my collection.

Let me tell you all this... girls like it when guys have hobbies and things in their lives that they are passionate about. THey might seem jealous, but it excites them :) Just make sure that you care for them more than your hobby!!

Just make sure that you care for them more than your hobby!!

Lets not take this whole thing out of perspective, I love me wife, But if there was a fire, Its up to her to get out, cause I am heading for my knives and guns!! :D

My fiance got me a Buck-Strider Mini Tanto 1st production run for an engagment gift. This was actually a pre-gift pending the release of the Strider SnG. Yes She's a keeper

Personally I think TheBadGuy has it right. I mean, she can run her out of the house on her own. So someone has to save the treasure.;)

Anyway, no Mrs/Miss in my life yet but my parents are great. For the past two years they have gotten me knife for all the special occasions.

Though they always ask why I want more.

Guess I lucked out too. Actually, my wife indirectly sparked my interest in knives. On my first visit to Sweden to meet the inlaws (I'm in the USA), I saw the Puuko style knives for the first time and was fascinated. She thought it was great that I was interested in this local folk blade, and we purchased a Lapp knife to bring home to the US. Back in the States I got more interested in scandinavian knives after helping my 9yo daughter put together a Brusletto sheath knife kit.
Now everytime we, or my wife, visits Sweden, she gets me a nice knife surprise. The last was a couple EKA blades, including a beautiful Sandvik hunter (below).

My gf has gotten me a few blades. Benchmade, Kershaw, CRKT etc...

It's never been a problem seeing as she knows that I like all aspects of knives and I don't have them because I want to 'flash' them around all the time...nor am I out to cause any trouble with them.

She has not bought me any, and does not understand why I keep buying them, BUT she does fix me when I cut myself with them. That is all I need!

My girlfriend hasn't really bought me any knives to speak of, but she is supportive of my hobby. I think that if she had more money, she would spend more on my knife hobby, but since she is paying off her grad school, it's understandable. I love her anyway ;)
