Hi Guys,

Been away for a while, would like share a site I have been working on, hopefully it can be beneficial to all.

It was created after discussion citing the need for a central place to find knife makers in the country.

No web genius so still figuring out a few things. Would love for everyone to contribute to build the database.

Open to suggestions on how to improve, bit bare bones right now but we have the engine running, bodywork will come later.

Check the knifemaker directory in the back of the KNIVES annuals. Good place to grab a lot of info.

This is a mammoth task and I would certainly appreciate the help of those willing to share their knowledge and expertise not only for the maker database but for the site as a whole.

The philosophy is to create a free, transparent and open environment to gather and share knowledge regarding every aspect of knives, custom knives, knife makers, knifemaking and anything related to this craft.

Hosting and the initial arduous effort of setup has been taken care of and I hope it will be worthy of reinvestment to keep it running in a years time.
