Does anyone know how good their $20 Classic Balisong with the 4" blade is? How about the Jaguar ones? And does anyone know how they can sell knives that look just like the Kershaw Whirlwind for much less than the Whirlwind?

Revelation 13:9-10, "If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

The classic balisong is decent at best. The pins are trash and will break apart in matter of hours, if not minutes. It would make a decent user if you fix the pins. Your better off spending a little more and getting the jags.

You might want to also check out this store. www.butterflyknifeexchange.com

I still think your better off saving a buying the 42.

And with the whirlwind, its only a crappy copy. Never buy anything else but balis from jaguar. Absolute trash. They can charge so little because its cheaply made, has cheap parts, labor and quality. If you really want one (I know you already have a real one) go to www.bladeauction.com -you can get them for about $5.

I don't really know about Knifezilla's classic balisong, how good or bad it is, but I personally like the 'wave' and 'dragon' balisongs they have. Now, I'm not trying to bash Knifezilla, but you can get those balis cheaper elsewhere. And the Jags, they look cool, but the pins get extremely loose within an hour or less of use... I actually prefer the 'wave' and 'dragon' balis over Jags, although the look of the Jags are cooler.

And the Whirlwind copies? Of course they are cheaper, because they are the same as the crap-$5 pocket knives you can find out there (quality wise). All they are is a standard liner-lock knife, with the look of a whirlwind on the outside. I don't own one, but that is my best guess. You can find all sorts of copies on BA.
