has anyone bought anything from them? i purchased a knife from them like last week friday, and well they told me it would take about 2 weeks for it to arrive here (canada) because of customs.... has anyone from canada bought from them? did ur product arrive? did you have any problems with them?

I'm not from Canada, but I've bought heaps off of Knifezilla and PVK (their sister company) and I've never had any problems with them. They can get kind of busy from time to time, so sometimes they have like a day or 2 "lag" in the shipping, more importantly though, everything I've ever ordered has arrived here safely, so don't panic.

I've shipped items to Canada before and can tell you, yeah it can take up to 2 weeks to receive stuff. Depending on what your sending and where too. knifezilla and pvk are great. Zero problems here.

I have had numerious experiences with Josh, and although slow at times...(over a month).
He has never done me wrong. There was one time that The knife shipped wasn't exactly the same as the picture, (a Dalton style china cheapie OTF auto), He said that he ran out of the style in the picture, and sent another style, and gave me my next auction that I won (a few days later, around the same price) for FREE.

I wouldn't wory about Knifezilla, and be more worried about Canadian Customs.

yea... im not so worried about them.. im just a lil worried about it taking (a month?!??!) a long time to get here... cuz yea... im young and yes.. im a lil impatient! LOL... but yea... as long as it gets here... im good

To be frank, if I was going to risk bringing a balisong into Canada again I would at least have gone for a Jaguar. When I did my cross-border shopping in the 1980s I got Frost Cutlery and a Compass Industries. They were decent quality knives that still get the job done. Too bad they don't make them anymore.

A Butterfly knife going to Canada, eh? Do let us know if it makes it through customs.

I agree - Josh can be great. It'll make it, though don't expect it any sooner than two weeks (not through any fault of Knifezilla - singles are, in my experience, sent regular mail, and Canada Post is slower than, well, a snail in snow)
And, I agree - should have gone for a Jag at least, if not better.

Still more or less on topic, has anyone e-mailed Josh & asked about his plans for the new BM's etc? Just thought I'd check before asking him myself, so as not to bug him with repeat questions.

So, hypothetically speaking, if I were to live in Canada, and if I were to order a BM 42 from them, somehow if will not be siezed by the boys at the border?

Shipping to/from Canada is a pain. I sent a $500 aluminum subwoofer there over a month ago and it hasn't arrived yet. At the same time, a titanium sub was sent from the Canada address to me, and THAT hasn't gotten here either. And it's only a few hundred miles from me. Grrr.

BUT, if anyone is going to ship a knife there, its knifezilla. IMHO, they have some of the BEST customer service around. Never fear, it'll be here. (hey that rhymes!)

Are postal system isn't to great either. I bought a custom weehawk from Gollnick and he shipped it to me next day air. The post office guaranteed it next day, but it arrived three days later.

Gollnick and I were worried since they couldn't track it. I think they temporarily lost it. It did arrive safe and sound though.
