hey, i was just wondering how many people have purchased knives from www.knifezilla.com and also what knives they would be. I think knifezilla is an excellent site. Josh is extremely friendly and is nice enough to try to get his balis into canada. please share your experiences with him.

I've never bought Bali's from Josh, but have bought older BM folders and autos. He always treated me fair and his service was great. He has been a great help in filling gaps in my BM collection.
Now, to find a good source for older PC's --- folders, fixed and Bali's ----- Hmmmmmm ???

Welcome to the forums. I have bought a Jag and a pacific style (Chinese Sindwinder) and a bottle of Miltec-1 from Josh and have never had a problem. He probably has the best CS I've ever dealt with. Will I do business with him again? As soon as I can afford it.

i was looking at those i found them pretty interesting. Mr yoda what would you say was wrong with them. Did they strip, break, just were use less. Please be more explanitory than just saying it sucked. Thank you

Josh is definitely the best............

I've been dealing with him since I first started BalisongXtreme. He's gotten more Balis into the hands of people that otherwise wouldn't be able to get them (because of laws and restrictions).

Sure he's a business man looking to sell product, but not many people would put their business' on the line everyday like he does, just to satisfy our little (and ever expanding) niche.

You HAVE to give him a huge amount of credit for that.

Josh is GREAT!!
I've bought balisongs off him, through him, and even sold a bali to him personally.
If something goes wrong, (sometimes show shipping times) he makes it right.
I wouldn't worry at all!!

I would have to agree in saying that Josh is great to deal with.. at first I was skeptical, but once I got my BM-42... I was impressed. The site itself isn't all that impressive.. but it's functional. That's all that's needed I suppose.

I guess I took it mostly as a gamble... since I had some extra cash, I figured.. hey.. why not. And it turned out for the best.

I also got a BM Toolkit.. definately crappy quality. The bits seem like they weren't machined properly... there's a big nick out the philips one. Almost making it unusable. Good thing I don't have to use it. Also, they seem rather weak and easy to twist out of shape. Though, it's great that they're magnetic.

First let me say that Knifezilla's service was great.

The problem was with the toolkit. The bit for the latch twisted so that its in more of a spiral than the original star shape. There was a post recently that talked about some better alternatives to the bluebox kit. I don't have any experience with those but I would definitely not recommend the BM toolkit. They spend too much time making great knives to also have great toolkits.

edited for bad spelling

Another satisfied Josh Burbank customer here. Right now if you order anything over $40 before the end of the month, you get $10 off. I have no idea how he stays in business when he does these specials, and is so willing to go the extra mile to satisfy his customers.

In addition to ordering from Josh, I've had numerous conversations with him - he's forthright and damned helpful. I recall him mentioning how many knives he ships weekly, but don't remember the exact number -- it was awesome -- he's got a good thing going !! Hope he continues to succeed !!

I've known Josh for years..., and have probably purchased over 100 items from him. As mentioned by many.., a very nice guy, and extremely busy like many of us.

When an error has ocurred (which has been seldom for me).., Josh responds immediately and gets it straightened out.
