Hello,
I just finished a custom order - Knight’s Templar Dagger.
Damascus blade came from Russian bladesmith, Vladimir Nazarov.
Blade was made from three types of Russian steel: ШХ15, У8 and ХВГ.
Approximate USA analogs would be 52100, W1 and O1, respectively.
Blade dimensions: 11" x 3/4" x 3/16"
Overall length: 16 1/4"

Handle:
Gabon Ebony
Sterling silver
14K gold
Natural garnets
Mammoth ivory

Thanks for watching!

Vladimir

Beautifully done Vladimir. Do you happen to be Scottish Rite?

Paul

Vladimir, this has to be the finest "Templar" dagger ever made, one that any noble knight would treasure!!
The grooved blade is beautiful, and the textured guard and fittings with rich detailed accents in silver, gold and garnets really come together for an outstanding piece! The dark Gabon Ebony gives a nice contrast in texture.
Yes Sir...another exquisite Art piece from you, and I'll be proud to display it beside the 'Teutonic Knight' you sent to me.

Thank you my friend...outstanding work, as always!!

that knife has got a LOT going for it!
Have you built a display for it?

That is absolutely unbelievable !
Thank you so much for sharing that MASTERPIECE with us, my bank account is trembling ;D

I think you hit the nail on the head getting the theme to project from the knife. Real pretty piece of work
