I read Knife magazine Feb.2002 published today, there introduced KNIGHT'S armorment co. producing Ryan design tactical folder.
Did you saw it, and If you know, how do you think about it?

All of those knives look:eek: great. But what I really like are those fixed blades!

gee, the handle looked good, but when the rest of the pic loaded and I saw the blade, I nearly threw up!

Ah well, i'm sure in spite of it's butt ugly aesthetics this will be a well produced knife, since KAC has gone above and beyond in so many different directions (particularly firearms and supressors)

Sweet Jesus!!! "When and how much?" is all I've got to say. After the disappointing CRKT Model 7 it's nice to see a real production Ryan. I think it's beautiful, much more representative of Ryan's wild and exotic blades than the rather plain looking Model 7.

Thats SO wierd....I just got off the phone with him and he was telling me about this...... He said he hasnt even seen it!! :p

38,500 yen, I think thats around $294. How do these guys in Japan get so much inside info on the US knife market? Its looks great to me, I should check yamash i ta.com more often.

callahwj- This particular design is not in his catalog so I believe it to be something designed specifically for this project.
The knife is 275mm overall !!!!!!!

For size comparison the M-1 is 290mm, so this one is going to be BIG.
Not like the CRKT M-7. Hopefully if internet dealers get these we'll get a price break. I wonder if these are going to get a clip.

Was a bit dissapointed in the CRKT....would be willing to pay the extra money for a real production version of a Ryan. (someday pay the even more money for a real Ryan too!!)

I like the CRKT7,I polished the blade and the liners on mine and removed the thumb stud. The CRKT stamp is gone on the front but you can still see the RYAN stamp on the back(that was hard to do!!):D
