Just got this back from the engraver and thought it turned out so well that I'd share it with y'all. I traded for this about 4 months ago and although it looked great, the bolsters were just a plain brushed nickel silver and looked incomplete. I had just met this engraver, Rudy Bochenski who is known for his hand engraving on high-end shotguns and he agreed to work on the knife. Its taken over 3 months to get it back, but I'm really impressed with the job he did. I think it really sets off the mammoth ivory and makes the knife look complete.

That is a stunning knife and the engraving sets everything off well.
Thanks for showing it to us!

You're right. The engraving steps this up to another level. Very nice all around. Good choice--nice score.

(I've got a small gents knife from a relative unknown that I just finished photographing. I'll post later. I love these great unknowns!)
