After seeing the Knives & Watches thread and not being into watches, I thought about other things that go well with knives as an EDC and that I as well as others are probably into collecting. I hope this isn't a duplicate thread, I searched and didn't find one. Anyways, I'll kick it off with a pair I've been carrying fairly frequently lately.

Sanrenmu 734 and my Sapphire Peace Zippo. I've had that Zippo since I was 15.
 
Benchmade 580 with a freebie zippo I got from Marlboro cigarettes. I do not smoke, so I haven't really used it yet. Both made in the USA :)

@BladeScout - You're actually right. When I was 15, I was the closest I'll ever be to being a hippy. Then I got a job that didn't involve bartering :p

Its just that when ever people speak of having used the same Zippo for a long time, Im reminded of a super nice black crackle paint 'USS Spruance' marked Zippo, that some subhuman stole from me, when out drunk one night. Man, I liked that Zippo a lot.

People who steal Zippos ought to be bitch slapped....or have a 'Z' carved in their foreheads! :mad:

You just dont touch another mans Zippo, wife, truck or guns (not necessarrily in that order).

Close, 8 years now. :p

I always keep a bic or Star/Kantai to loan out at bars just to prevent that same situation from happening.
