I went to Borders today and picked up Knives 2002. It was the only copy on the shelf (I doubt highly that it was close to selling out). I was glad I found it. This years book is, as always, chock full of great knives and articles. One such articles is penned by BFC moderator Dexter Ewing on neck knives and there many uses as well as the makers. I now know alot more about neckers thanks to Dexters well written and highly informational piece.

Thanks Dexter, and keep up the good work. :D

I like the knives xxxx series of annuals. Publicizes the work of a lot of great makers that you do not see on the net or in the magazines.

My humble suggestions

update the makers lists with WEBSITES!

color pictures of the knives, not color ads

Ken - thank you for your compliment, I appreciate it. I'm a big fan of custom neck knives, and therefore this particular article was a lot of fun for me to put together. Glad that you find it very informative.

Dan - great point. Nowadays, more and more makers are online via websites and/or email. Email especially is a great avenue to communicate with makers, as getting them on the phone during the day can be tough at times. I'll pass the recommendation on to Joe Kertzman.
